Corrosion Protection
  1. Internal: Internal surface is flush coated with Phenol based varnish confirming to Class A of IS 350 of Dr Beck's Elmoluft 1A FD, and compatible with transformer oil confirming to IS 335 at a working temperature of 1050C
  2. External Protection:
    a. Surface Preparation: Prior to painting external surface is grit blasted to a surface profile of 30 to 60 microns depending on coating thickness and the surface is comparable to SA 2½ (Swedish Slated) SSPC – SP –10 (USA Std) BS4232 Quality-2 (British Std)

    b. Painting
    1. Standard painting such as enamel based, epoxy based primer and finish painting including Aliphatic polyurethane finish painting. All painting are done by flow coating system to ensure paint covers every nook and corner of the Radiator.
    2. We can paint Radiator to international standard ISO/EN 12944 or American SSPC standards.

      The system includes
      • C2    - L. M. H            L = Low
      • C3    - L. M. H            M = Medium
      • C4    - L. M. H            H = High
      • C5M - L. M. H

    Depending on environmental condition, durability and warranty requirements. All painting is done by flow coat method.

  3. Packing: All Radiators are packed in a sturdy wooden crate suitable for Road or Sea Transport.
